Gerard Cox

Gerard Cox established the company in1985 along with his wife Maria, the team was originally run from Gerard's garage in Gillingham before moving to a purpose built workshop at Bayford Meadows in 2004. Gerard continues to lead the team to success and what looks like a promising 2010.

Rotax Drivers

Rob Holland

After graduating from 4th in the Honda Cadet series with the team in 2008, Rob succeded in securing 7th overall in his first year of Minimax and not only that but won on the road at the British Open championship on his first attempt! In 2010 Rob will carry this momentum forward as he challenges for National glory once again in the Minimax class.

Luke Rosewell

In 2009 Luke finished 4th in the Junior TKM four stroke championship and won the TKM Festival aboard his Project One TKM kart, 2010 will see Luke step up to the Junior Rotax category taking guidance from Project One, Luke should be fighting for race wins in the class very soon!

Rob Browning

Rob is currently Project One Racing's longest standing driver. 2009 started well for Rob but misfortune crept in meaning Rob missed out on a seeded number. In 2010 Rob will pilot one of Project One Racing's brand new Kosmic Mercury's, already we have seen great improvment in speed from Rob since switching. Rob will soon be making his return to competitive karting after a short break.

Jenna Dackombe

Jenna is another of the teams long standing drivers, she now return to the team after a year out to join the police force. She will pilot a new Kosmic Mercury at various club meetings and the prestigious Kartmasters GP event in 2010. Jenna has already been setting respectable times in testing and netted a 6th place finish upon her return to racing at PFI.

Charlie Elliott

Charlie is one of our promising club Mini Max drivers, currently driving a Tony Kart Racer Charlie has shown improvement in speed and race craft in recent months. We continue to work with Charlie to improve on all aspects and recently saw him take his first race win! Charlie can now build on this to become a regular front runner and race winner at various circuits.

Sam Brabham

Sam is the son of Le Mans winner and ex F1 driver David Brabham, given his background, Sam is relativley inexperienced. However having competed in a couple of races with us he is showing good potential, 2010 should see Sam mixing it up at the front of club meetings in the Junior Max Class.

Sam Roud

Midway through 2009 Sam had never sat in a kart, however Sam is now off his novice plates and start pushing his way up through the field. In 2010 Sam will race in the Minimax class at various club meetings gaining the experience and knowledge required to win! More recently he has made the switch onto a brand new Kosmic Mercury and has taken a surge towards to front of the pack narrowly missing out on his first podium at the May Bayford club meeting.

Honda Cadet Drivers

Luke Knott

Luke is our most experinced cadet driver, with varied club racing and a successful year in 2009. Luke took third overall in only his first year of super one also claiming the London Cup and the O Plate. In 2010 he is consistantly at the front at super one and recently took his first win of 2010 at Shennington to boost his title hopes.

Kyle Petricca

Kyle is now competing in only his second year of racing and is improving all the time, in 2009 he claimed a seeded number, in 2010 he will work closely with the Project One team to ensure that his progress continues. A top 5 finish in the championship in 2010 is a realistic goal for Kyle and would be a successful year.

Steven Prentice

Steven is the least experience of our super one drivers, competing in only his first year of super one, however he has shown that he can learn the circuits quickly and take regular top 10 finishes. We look forward to seeing Steven progress under our guidance and start fighting for poodiums in 2010.
