Project One Racing was established in 1986 and has grown into one of the most professional and highly regarded race teams within the karting industry, manufacturing very successful and competitive karts for the Honda Cadet and TKM classes.We have multiple British, National and Club Championship accolades to our name as well as '0' plate success with many drivers progressing and excelling in all ranks of European Karting and Car racing. We have won the last eight Honda Cadet '0' plates and are the current British, Scotish Irish and Northern Irish champions.We are based at Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit and are a company renowned for our friendly and helpful customer service, which is second to none.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to know more about Project One Racing or about joining our team.Evans & Wilkes do the double - 18th December 2011Jack Evans and Jonathan Wilkes topped off an outstanding season by taking the kent double in their respected classes. Jack put in a dominant performance throughout the day to secure the Buckmore Park Minimax championship. Meanwhile in the Honda cadet class Jonathan was locked in a tightly contested duel for the crown with fellow Project One pilot James Waite. Heading into the final it was all square but after a brilliantly gutsy comback drive in the four lap restarted final Jonathan beat his rival and claimed his second championship of the year. Project Once Racing would like to congratulate botth drivers for two fantastoc performances.2012 Project One Honda Cadet to be unveiled at Kart Show - 21st Novermber 2011Project One Racing will be unveiling thier latest Honda Cadet machine at the Kartshow early next month. Although there will be no outright chassis changes, a range of components will be updated for the 2012 kart as well as a brand new graphics kit. Be sure to be at the front of the queue for your new Project One Honda Cadet.Bennett, Evans & Wilkes take BMKR Glory - 23rd October 2011Project One Racing' drivers, Charlie Bennett, Jack Evans and Jonathan Wilkes all took Bayford Meadows Club Championship wins at the final club meeting of the summer series. Charlie Bennett had a tough season in the Honda Cadet clubman class but came out on top, Jack Evan's dominated the Mini Max category on his way to taking the crown, with fellow Project One pilot Archie Tillett taking second in the standings. Jonathan Wilkes made another top class performance on his way to winning the ultra competitive Honda cadet championship. Project One Racing would like to congratulate all four drivers on what has been a fantastic summer season for ther team at Bayford Meadows.

Race Team

Project one Racing has become known around the paddock as one of the most profesional and successful teams, with customer service being of utmost importance, this dedication to the customer is exhibited at all levels making Project One Racing a popular choice of team whether you want to race in the British championships or in a local club race.Project One Racing team drivers have achieved great success in the past years and continue to head the field at club and national level. Many of our drivers have moved into car racing taking with them the knowledge and experience they gained at Project One Racing.When you become part of the Project One team you will get your own race and test schedule for the year depending on your experience and budget. We will clean, prepare, store and transport all of your karting equipment between races, providing space in our awning, garage or workshop. You will receive advice from one of our engineers on kart and engine setup and also one of our experienced mechanics to ensure that your racing runs smoothly and to the peak of your potential.To become part of a winning team at an affordable price, get in contact with us to discuss what you would like to do as there are various arrangemts to suit all budgets and circumstances. We will run any OTK karts in the rotax classes.

Test Days

We are available for test days all year round. If you are a novice we will help you with assistance on kart and engine setup, driver training and general advice on any equipment and class. Many people make huge improvements in just one day. If you are an experienced driver and you want to fine tune your driving style or optimise your kart setup then we have all the necesary expertise and datalogging equipment to ensure that you gain those vital last few tenths.To organise a test on your kart or on ours, get in contact by phone or by email.We also offer a Kart school for novice drivers of all ages, we can cater for young Honda Cadet drivers offering midweek tests at Bayford Meadows where we are based.

Kart Preperation

Whatever the equipment, we can prepare your kart as a one-off preparation or as regularly as you require. Every kart will be stripped down, thouroughly cleaned and serviced, replacing all malfunctioning and broken parts.At our workshop we have the facilities to check and precisely correct your chassis, once the kart has been re-jig'd it will then be rebuilt and prepared to the highest standard. We also offer a service to customers using our Honda Cadet chassis where we can place the kart back into the fabrication Jig to determine all angles on every chassis rail. Even if your frame is one millimeter out it could be costing you valuable lap time. Why not give us a call for piece of mind.

Carb Service

Through years of experience of racing at the highest level we can thoroughly clean and balance your carburetor to get the maximum performance from your carb and engine combination.

UNIPRO Laptimer

UNIPRO is a Danish company, established in 1986 they have risen through the ranks to provide top quality laptimers across the world, their mission to help drivers precisely pinpoint areas of improvment and push the limits further.Project One Racing are agents for UNIPRO laptimers and dataloggers, our race team use them to good effect and our mechanics use them for setup and driver coaching, and all with no beacon, the UNIPRO system runs from the magnetic strips already laid in each circuit. We stock a wide range of UNIPRO components and anything we don't have can be ordered immediately.The UNIPRO system offers a good range of analytical tools to accurately detect time loss on the circuit, the standard system comes with a Laptimer dash, logging box, wheel speed sensor and mount, an RPM sensor and the USB download lead as well as the latest analyser software. Additionally there are temperature sensors, power valve sensors and now the new G-Force sensor which can draw a circuit map so that data can be seen in a visual sense.
